Make your pineapple sweeter!

After you buy a pineapple, store it at room temperature, upside down until you cut it. All the natural sugars sink to the bottom when it sits in the grocery store, so the bottom of the pineapple is sweeter than the sour top. If you store it upside down for a few hours or a day or two, the sugars trickle down through to the top, making the pineapple evenly sweet throughout.
Pineapples are full of vitamin C which strengthens the immune system, and an enzyme called bromelain, which reduces inflammation and could help conditions like arthritis. (Cool, huh?)
One cup of sweet, delicious pineapple has about 70-80 calories.
