Hi and welcome!

I’m Amanda Chine, an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, group fitness instructor, yogi, and owner/designer at MandaBees.com. Happy Hungry Fit is a place where I post helpful info for my training clients, or anyone on a mission to improve their lifestyle.

Behind the scenes Amanda. I guess the short version goes like this: In college I was a research assistant. I got my BA in Philosophy and Religious studies, which lead me to Thailand where I lived in 2009 and studied yoga and ate delicious food.

 Yoga lead to fitness and a few years later I happened to meet the the right friend at the right time, my fitness studio owner good friend Deb. It's at the Classroom that I've totally turned my passion into my career.

Shortly after I began working in the fitness industry I opened Manda Bees, my online yoga headband store. The re-designing of the headband came out of sheer necessity; my freakishly thick hair is no match for drugstore headbands. Thanks to my grandma teaching me how to sew and my best friend loaning me her sewing machine, Manda Bees was born.

I love Pandora, good food (lets see how many times I can mention food in this post), spandex, being in my pajamas, lemonade, documentaries (literally-probably any documentary), Danny Devito, football, fantasy sports, breakfast for dinner. I am both a thrill-seeker and a homebody. I suck at math, but I'll probably school you in a game of NBA jam.

My diet is usually pretty close to 40% carbs, 30% fat, 30% protein. I subscribe to the 80/20 rule when it comes to eating-- 80% super clean, 20% delicious stuff you'd probably judge me for eating. Living life to the fullest for me means eating a donut every once in a while and I don't feel guilty about it.
